An oversized, slouchy silhouette wrapped in an indigo chrysanthemum print, the kiku motif, a flower long tied to longevity and nobility in Japanese art, rendered here in deep indigo on natural cotton. The relaxed, boxy drape takes cues from traditional Japanese textile bags, letting the fabric fold and settle naturally rather than holding a rigid shape.
Woven from 100% cotton and finished with a soft brown contrast strap, it’s built entirely from natural materials, no synthetic linings, no stiffeners. Roomy enough for daily essentials, light enough to sling over one shoulder.
Locally made in small batches, each bag carries slight variations in the print placement a reminder that it was made by hand, not machine stamped.
